Fell Off The Wagon This Weekend

Friday I drank many many many beers and smoked lots of cigs then skipped my workout Saturday. Ugghhh.

Friday 1/8/10
1. Breakfast: Black coffee, Special K Original w/skim milk
2. Lunch: 4 boiled egg whites, 1/2 large apple
3. Lost count of how many beers I drank after work
4. Red Beans and Rice

Saturday 1/9/10
1. Lunch:Indian Food Buffet (rice, saag paneer, tikka masala, spinch pakora? and fried potato patty?...drank mango lemonade)
2. Dinner: Greek salad(greens, dressing, olives, and feta), 2 greasy rolls, and creamy pasta primavera)
3. A few nibbles of carrot cake

Sunday 1/10/10
1. Coffee w/ vanilla latte creamer and skim
2. leftover Greek salad, creamy pasta primavera, and one greasy roll

That's all so far. I plan to cook more red beans this evening. I love red beans and rice.

    Add it to your personal goals to only have ___ beers when going out.....It is easier to plan ahead.

    Hey I hear ya. I love beer and Indian food. While we're supposed to avoid alcohol entirely, I find it hard to say I'm not going to drink my favorite beer when the occasion arises.
    I guess you just gotta make yourself stop after 1 or 2 like you wouldn't want to plow through a bag of cookies.
    I will say that your lunch on Friday seems very small. You do not want to deprive yourself like that because you're more likely to go eat a lot later.
    Try to eat a big lunch if possible.

    So you fell off the wagon and landing into a Keg of Beer -:)
    New week - fresh start keep picturing that end result you want.

    You can do it, and the next time that little devil on your shoulder says - "come on have 1 more beer"keep him to the curb.

    I love red beans and rice. We also eat chile, blackeye peas, and pinto beans with rice. My DIL makes a Brazilian dish of black beans and various meats and she serves it with rice.

    Don't beat yourself up just get back on the wagon. We all fall off now and then, must be the alcohol. LOL Seriously you are going to get back on track. Keep moving forward.

    Well you know what they say - if you fall off the wagon, get back on again! As long as your enjoyed the beer then that's okay! Don't give yourself a hard time. You can do this. Hugs x emoticon

    I started a new goal and challenge on Friday and so far I've do pretty good on Saturday and Sunday am. Good luck to you.
