Old habits die hard!

It's only been 2 days but I already realized how hard it is to change my behavior.
Yesterday evening, I was eating dinner and while I was thinking about how many calories all of this food represented, my fork half way between my plate and my mouth, something caught my attention and made me realize I was eating in front of the TV, again. Then I dropped my fork and went to sit at the table and finished my plate as quick as possible to go back to the TV. Ugh! It's not a good start, is it?
One of my Fast Break Goals is "Don't eat in front of the TV". I know it's a bad habit I have since I moved on my own. I hate cooking for one so I usually end up doing something real quick and eating in front of the TV. Because there's nothing worse than eating alone staring at the white wall in front of you. TV gives me company and distracts me from what I'm eating. (I'm not a great cook.)
I don't know if I can do this.. I guess being here means I want to try. I just need to focus on my goals and make it happen. I've seen many inspirational profiles and I hope I can find the help and support I'll need to reach my goals.
