Still here and still trying

I know I haven't kept up my journals, but I am staying active on the rest of SP. I have become a little lax with my food habits as I've been super busy working two jobs. I'm NOT making excuses for myself, it's just I'm hardly ever home so I grab what I can when I can. My goal for the next week is to "map" out my meals so I can eat healhier. I've been going to the gym, just not as often as I like. I went on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. This past saturday I participated in a 5K walk for Diabetes. That was a HUGE accomplishment for me! I was very proud of myself for taking that on and succeeding. Not only was that a great personal triumph, but I helped raise $340 for the cure for diabetes. I'm making little changes to try and get a little more exercise here and there....parking farther away, taking stairs, walking more. Every little bit helps. I've fallen behind on the food tracker, but I have everything written down...I just have to enter it. I'm more aware of what I buy at the store now. I'm starting to get low sodium or low fat items so it's a little bit better for me. One of the places I need MAJOR improvement on is my sleep. I don't really. I typically exist on 4 or less hours of sleep a day. In addition to going to bed really late I suffer from insomnia alot. I just need to force myself to go to bed and establish a better bedtime. I've always been a night person though so it's a 27 year old habit I'd have to break. Ugh. I'm up for the challenge though. I'm so happy I didn't gain any weight on my cruise. I used the gym and did a ton of walking. I'm recommitting myself to eating better and exercising more. I WILL drop another 15 pounds by the end of the year! I'm determined and focused on that goal. Thanks for all the support and motivation from everyone here on SP. I'm going to be needing you guys the next few monthes.
