Progress Report

I've been sick, and before that I spent a few weeks going to Curves and trying to drink lots of liquids.

I'm happy to report that I've lost a tiny bit of weight, and some inches, and a bit more body fat...so progress.

Now that the new year is upon us, I am earnestly counting calories (pen and ink for now, as opposed to logging in here) and continuing my curves workouts. I'll keep updating this blog periodically.

I just wanted, mainly, to pop in and say that just because I'm not logging in here at sparkpeople, doesn't mean I'm not making an effort in the fitness/weightloss department.

Something has shifted inside of me: No longer do I view the extra weight that I'm carrying as something I need to diet off, with exercise as a support tool. Instead, I see it as something I need to burn off, with diet as a support. I know it's both/and as opposed to either/or, but at least for now, In my head the emphasis has changed.

And with that in mind, I think I'll put this laptop down, put on my workout cothes and go over to Curves for a workout.
