Master Cleanse Day 1 (01/04/10)

Not as bad as I expected…

Woke up this morning and prepared myself for day one. The lemonade is an acquired taste, and had me questioning if I would make it the full 10 Days. The day started off as normal no bad symptoms for the morning half of the day with 1/3 of the lemonade gone. Around lunch time the cravings and hunger began to appear. I have managed to make it through the work day with no really negative side effects and over half of the lemonade drunk. Finished the evening off with the rest of the lemonade and still not really tired so managed to make it 30 min on the treadmill. I knew it was too good to be true but what can I expect on fluids along…here comes the dizziness and sleepiness but I can’t complain it’s almost time for bed. So I’m calling it a night after tea and shower.

Good for you for making it through day 1 ... continue to take things one day at a time with this cleanse. As far as the cravings, be sure to have a cup of the lemonade when you feel hungry (6-12 a day is suggested). The first 3 days can be the most challenging. Hang in there, we can do this! Like Syndibee said, play with the maple syrup a little. I like to drink my drink warm, like tea.

you'll do it. Maybe play with the maple syrup content, you may need a little more.
I like to make a little with the cayenne pepper ahead and get the pepper down all at once then enjoy the rest without the pepper spice.
