+/- for 1/1/09

I plan to try to continue my "things I did well/things I can improve on" entry on most days. It forces me to be introspective :)

+went to a walk even though it was cold out and I was tired
+ate healthy for MOST of the day

-had an extra spoonful of Mom's whipped mashed potatoes (made w/ 2% milk & a bit of butter) bc I can count the times on 1 hand in a year that I eat this...and it was crazy good.
-had piece of her apple pie but left the crust
-because of all of these extra carbs I was STARVING 4 hrs later. I tired to only eat kiwi & lf string cheese, but ended up eating a salad w/ light dressing & kashi crackers. Yes, I didn't eat horrible things, but I wouldn't have been so hungry if I had eaten a more reasonable dinner.
