I stay in cubes for about 8 hours a day. Eat junk food from Vending machines and lately I had picked a bad habit of eating McDonald HashBrown with small coffee. I have to agree I love it in the morning.

The issue however is that I have balooned right now, my weight is about 220 lb's, I am 6 feet and 2 inches tall.

I have tried weight loss routines various times but didnt get far partly because I wanted quick and dirty results. That is exactly what they turned out to be. Even though I dropped I would regain all of it back.

Now This time around I am trying to write about it and maintain a log of how to loose it.

Let me see how far this attempt goes.

So what is the new attempt this time around:-
1. Soup + Beans Diet
2. Exercise within home

What has worked for me is the soup and beans diet.
Tomato soup with beans or veggies.

There are lot of good youtube videos on how to exercise within your home.
Youtube: Burpees
Push up's
Sit ups

You will see how creative people are. It is really amazing what all you can achieve within staying in your home.

By the way, I have two Gym membership's.

When I am dieting I have noticed that brain wants to shutdown all processing power, I am just noticing and thinking how long it will last, it does eventually go away but with some food and water.

Drinking just water is tough hence I started doing the burpees, sit up's bought a iron man door pull up bar it is pretty effective.

Then there is my favourite you tube video about how to exercise with your chairs at home.
Just put two chairs and do sit up's with your hands.

So far it has proven to be very helpful.

Why Salads fail for me ?
Salads are good but cold, too much effort to cut put them on plate and too much time to munch on it. Plus the dressing is a killer.

Why Frozen veggies fail for me?
Frozen veggies take a long time to heat and I cant sit there and watch it for 10 minutes on work place microwave, they also left me very hungry very soon.

Why is it easy to slip?
There are thousands of food available all over the place, it is almost you feel like a Saint giving up everything and not eat anything at all. The joy is something that stays with me but the Guilt of saying people no is tough.

They start to wonder the dude still has a Jelly belly and still wants to diet.
Yes the negativity is Bull but our minds have to be tougher to overcome that.

Remember the easiest is push up and sit up.

It takes time but now I can do 12 pull up's on two of my chairs in no time and best of all body is starting to crave for more chair pull up's.

Also, you dont need anything if you have stairs in your home, since you are already paying those huge big a$$ mortgages use the stairs, dont leave the house figure out your frequency where your body is comfy and go up and down.

You dont have to run all through the country to loose weight, its all in your mind and home.

Stay focussed. Keep saying this to yourself "NO PAIN" and keep going.

Mind over matter.

    Are you ready to give us an update?

    You've talked me into trying the pull ups.
    I do work out regularly but am not able to do a single one. I do plenty of push ups and sit ups so I'm going to make an effort now to do the pull ups. I think it will give me a sense of real power! Thanks for the suggestion.
