Happy 2010 !

Saturday, January 02, 2010

Yea!! I saw the scale budge just a bit today, but that is encouraging.

Discipline is key, not only in eating healthy, but in my other goals in life, such as reading my Bible and praying daily. My Yoga helps a lot to keep me on track. It gives me a sense of balance and forces me to relax.

My family is ready to "Eat Clean" also, after indulging for so long on holiday junk, we are all craving fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. I made a big Chicken Noodle soup, and have fruit ready for the eating on the counter, it looks so attractive too.

Off to exercise now!! Have a great healthy day in the Lord today.

Getting my family to have healthy foods is one of my goals too. I've warned them, but haven't started throwing unhealthy stuff out yet. I'll give them a week.

Sounds like you are off to a great start. What are you reading in the Bible? Trying to read through it this year or studying a certain section? The Bible is our life source so when we prioritize our time with Him, life seems to flow much easier for me.

Have you decided which reading program you will be doing? Did you read Wendy's blog? I like her new format. It's more in depth than just reading through the Bible in a year.

I am so ready to eat clean, too. After having 19 people here for dinner yesterday, I'm ready to detox!! At least your family is anxious to eat clean with you!
