mmm chicken

Okay all my bander friends-I keep waiting for something bad to happen with my band and so far-so good. I just had my first fill last Monday. My doctor said that even though I was able to eat meat and stuff before I might not now. So on our little 2 night trip with the kiddos, it was the end of my transition period of eating after a fill. I was very cautious but still was able to eat chicken and beef. I think I am a lucky one-either that or I just pay more attention to the horror stories of meat getting stuck etc. I also have been worried about drinking water too fast when going to Jazzercise. Have any of you actually puked up water for drinking too fast? Anyways-I am so happy that things are going well. I gained some over the holidays but it came off in 2 days with the fill. At first on the liquid and mushy days, I was thinking I couldn't tell the difference, but now with regular food-look out! I am a new woman! There is NO WAY food is getting in before like 3 1/2 -4 1/2 hours after a meal. I am so excited to get back to my normal life of work and working out and lose, lose, lose!
Happy new year everyone! I know I am going to make 2010 a rockin' year!

    Hey Missy,
glad to see an update and way to go on your weight loss! I am getting my first fill on wednesday. 5cc seems alot for a first fill, but what do I know? I am looking forward to some restriction, too. I can eat MORE than a cup! being able to eat more makes it hard to resist temptation.
