I wanted to wait until today to write this.... I found out two days ago that the "something suspicious" in my right lung was apparently nothing to worry about. BUT... and isn't there always a "but"???
They found gallstones. so let me see ...If I weigh them both, which one do I wnat? DUH... the gallstones. so for anyone who read my last blog I am fine. Now I have to wait for the holiday crap to end to get back in to see the dr. and see what we are going to do about the stones.

Should I keep them in a jar? lolol sorry, my boss did that last month. He had some as well and one of my other co-workers.... wow so maybe this place causes gallstones..... Geez I hope not, imagine all the customers who would get it.

Ok!!!! So now enough of the B.S.
I have to work on quitting smoking for the new year and the dr. is going to help. I am so stressed that each time I put one out I swear it's the last one..then a few hours go by and dam there I am again puffing on this demon that has control over me.
And with all the things going on in my life right now that I wont post about, I will need all of God's good graces to help me beat this. but first I must get rid of the fear of quitting.....

I hope and pray that everyone of you has a wonderful blessed new year, and may God's angels watch over you and protect you.. Peace and love...Tracy

I read this blog post, and I am SO glad you do not have cancer.

When my father-in-law had his gall bladder out, he was in recovery while I waited in his hospital room. The surgeon came in with the gall stones in a jar. She was very concered that he get them, because someone had accused her of NOT doing the surgery because he had not received souveners. LOL

I love your pictures of the cure ribbon with roses.

Tracy, such wonderful news to hear about your lung!! As for the gallstones, I had my gallbladder removed due to the same thing and I was up and about in a week. To know you will never had that kind of pain again is so comforting. You WILL quit smoking. Turn to God with all of the things going on in your life and He will give you all you need to succeed in every area. The fear of quitting is have hit that nail on the head, so you are off to a great start!

Oh I am so happy for you that what you feared turned out to be "nothing". Although gallstones are no fun, I agree - I would rather choose those. And, you can quit smoking - one day at a time. God will give you what you need to gain victory.

    Have a wonderful 2010! emoticon

Great news! Let's see I fell and fractured my ankle, dislocating the foot. I quit smoking that day. (Ambulance, Er, surgery etc. I know bones don't heal well or at all in smokers so that was a beg incentive. I had quit before but nothing that lasted more than a year. Sometimes it takes a big kick(as big or bigger than breast cancer) to make us choose.
It can be done! I did it, my DH did it.
Good luck, choose well and Happy New Year!
