BACK TO STAGE 1??

Wednesday, December 30, 2009

I have really been off the beam when it comes to my eating. Now I must take responsibility and get going again.

I am contemplating starting all over again at Stage 1. . . what does everyone think about that? If anyone could give me guidance on that I would appreciate it!

I plan on getting really serious with Spark People. I have never found anything as continuously supportive as all of you. Someone is always here, no matter what time of day or night.

I need to get a picture posted emoticon I HATE having my picture taken and posted!!! I also need to get a board up in my office to be a constant reminder that I have my goals and they must me 1st and foremost in my life!

I just want to say a HUGE THANKS to the creators of Spark People and an even HUGER (if that is a word) THANKS to the participants of Spark People. I look forward to 2010 and being more interactive will all of you!

    Hey Marcie,
I finally wandered back to Spark too. I need to get serious and keep moving. I signed up to be a co-leader of the lynnwood/everett group. Thought that will make me more accountable. I see you're a co-leader too. I have no idea how to do this. Any suggestions??

Just checking in with my 50+ teammate. I don't have any pictures on my page either. Even if I had them I don't know that I could figure out how to put them on here!! Doesn't matter what stage you are in, and going back to stage 1 wouldn't hurt. The important thing is to just keep on working at it.

One of the things I have learned here on Sparks, you go at your own pace, no matter what.
You can start on stage 4 if you feel your ready for that or you can go back to 1 if you feel you need to concentrate on your habits and need to work on improving your daily life.
After all it is all about the choices we make as individuals that make it a program that works for everyone.
I use each of the steps in my everyday life, things I have learned along the way that have made the program work for me. I use the nutrition tracker to keep me accountable for the foods I eat and the fitness tracker to keep me accountable for getting my exercise every day.
That is what is great about Sparks you can mold the program around you.
Good luck in your weight loss journey. Sandy

I don't have pictures of me either, and that's just fine.

Of course, you can go back to Stage 1 anytime you want; it might be helpful to pretend you were just starting out again and get focused on a couple of "quick start" items to get back on track.

This is a tough time of year, with lots of celebrations -- I have a conference next week, followed by two birthdays not counting my own. Be kind to yourself, and take the next right step. Let's have an awesome 2010!
