Early start to the New Year

Tuesday, December 29, 2009

I'm totally mad at myself for gaining back the weight that I worked so hard to get off. I know how hard it was to get that weight off, and told myself I would NEVER GAIN IT BACK! And, I did just that....,
I can't change what has happened so I started yesterday to get back into the swing of it all again. Not doing to bad I might say!
So, that is the start of my New Year's resolution....Too lose what I have gained back for a start...then on too more weight loss.
I CAN DO IT AGAIN......;-)

Its tough to stay focused all the time. We have so many other things to think about, but...good for you to have the awareness and readiness to get up and get going, to do what you have to do.

Don't give up. You are so worth it. I too gained all the weight back that I lost when I was on WW but I know that a little hard work and discipline and I'll be there again. Don't give up, strive to be your best for you and your loved ones.

    Some wise words from SP:

"“A fragment of a poem by Ralph Waldo Emerson is telling:

    "Finish each day
    And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
    Some blunders and
    Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

Move on with your life. Keep reaching for your goals and you will achieve them. One minor setback is nothing if you really want something and are willing to work for it.”

Yesterday is gone - today moving forward is what counts. The reason why we put lost weight back on is that we previously made only "temporary" changes not the "permanent" ones that lead to permanent results. This is what we all should be working on. You CAN and WILL do this!! Best Wishes with your goals!!!

Yes you can do it! You did it before and you can do it again. Some people can't even say they've ever done that so at least you know what to do. Keep up the positive attitude.

It's good that you didn't stay stuck and decided to start over and do something good just for you.

Keep us posted on how you are doing so that we can continue to encourage you.

    Hugs to you. emoticon

I did it too. And am disgusted with my weight. Now my daughter tells me she's getting married in July 10. The mother of the bride has got to look good. So I did the same as you. Why wait till the new year. I started the day after Christmas. Hang in there. You go girl!

I gained all mine after a major back operation and restricted movement! But I'm still here too! I reckon that everyone can help, cajole and give advice but it's only me that can achieve it, so off we go again. Let's show 'em!! Good luck with your aims and goals!
