Portion control is hard!

I worked today, and had a late lunch. So I was very hungery when I ate. And I'm a fast eater. Bad combination! I ate two servings of the creamy chicken curry on pita bread. Everything added up to 600 calories! Yikes! emoticonBut I have dinner planned out, so I won't be over for calories today. Eating right sure does get harder when you work. But I have a plan, healthy snack in car to keep me from getting too hungery! But what snack? Any suggestions?

    Portion control is a hard thing for me, too! Somehow the portions needed to FUEL my body don't match the portions needed to FILL my body!
    I've started being more conscious of it, but still am surprised at how small a correct portion is!
    Oh, well = I guess it's not "live and learn" but "learn and live!"
    I keep Emerald 100 calorie almonds snack packs in my car. They don't spoil, are measured, are healthy, and I get satisfaction from chewing!! You could measure a serving of almonds into baggies if you didn't want to buy the packs.
