After the Holidays....

So.... I haven't written a blog entry in a what feels like a REALLY long time--so I wanted to just do a quick update:

My healthy lifestyle has been mediocre for the month of December. Between my brother's visit, holiday parties, and the actual holidays--time for exercise was squeezed, and I didn't always make the best choices with food/drinks.

Believe it or not, I'm not worried. I've continued to use the Spark to track, and I'm hoping that my weight will be down overall for the month--pretty good considering everything! The new mantra in my head is "The only way I'll fail is if I quit." I know that if I keep focusing on being healthy every day, eventually everything else will follow.

I'm also getting very excited for the New Year. For the first time, I'll actually be able to say that I met some of my New Year resolutions from last year! And I'm already mapping out some ones that are exciting for 2010. I've already written them out, but I'll save those for a blog entry later in the week.

Also, I've decided on a new SparkName, and will be changing it shortly.

    Hey some months are gonna be slower than others, you are still sticking to it and doing fantastic overall. Life is hectic around the holidays and you can be like everyone else out there and get back on track for the new year. If you can find room at the gym, that is!!
