WARMING WINTER SCENTS OF LOVE
Friday, December 25, 2009
On cold winter nights, why not set the temperature soaring in you home with the aid of some aphrodisiac scents and candles?
Rather than seeing the long, cold evenings of winter as a curse, think of them as the ideal excuse to spend time snuggled up on the couch with your beloved. Burn candles and incense that will not only warm the atmosphere in your home, but also send out subtle romantic signals.
Warm winter glow
Choose scents that promote intimacy, sensuality, sexuality and romance. Cedar wood, patchouli sandalwood and musk all have a stimulating effect on the base Chakra, encouraging a more sexual atmosphere. Cinnamon and clove can increase the circulation, filling you with a warm glow. Relaxing scents such as lavender, ylang ylang and sandalwood encourage an intimate and more sensual mood.
Making your love incense
The strong, heady smell of incense is the most romantic way to fill your room with sensual vibrations. You can make your own incense easily by grinding fresh or dried herbs of your choice together. Burn them over a charcoal block or sprinkle them over a log fire or candle's flame.
