Working out with DH

Well, I went to church this morning, and we had a great choir practice after... I think we will get away with Christmas Eve service without embarrassing ourselves!
After that I went for a 40-minute walk. It was cold to start out with, but then I just got so warm in my heavy coat!!
This afternoon my hubby decided to work out at home for a little bit and said I could join him. We did tricep dips, push ups, squats and crunches... My triceps are sure feeling it!!

So I got my exercise in for the day!!


I did have a little piece of Chelsea bun after church... not a whole serving... just a little piece. This was a weakness on my part! I could've avoided it by just sticking to the coffee table...but I didn't... It's okay calorie-wise...it was a very small piece, but it is a weakness and temptation that I gave in to... I need a emoticon

At least I stopped at a small piece and didn't eat a whole plateful!!

    That sounds good. I'm glad you stopped with a small piece. I have a dozen cinnamon rolls in my office right now that I bought as a fundraiser. Give me strength!!!!!!!!

    Chelsea bun, sounds like another reason to Praise the Lord (LOL!) Good for you working out with DH. When I get up in the mornings for my 5:30 workout, mine often follows me....it's been good for both of us, and I don't even mind sharing my time anymore.
    I'm certain your choir will please the heart of God on Christmas eve. Don't forget to tell us all about it. Do you sing by candlelight? We do, and it's beautiful.

    Sometimes it is best to have that small piece, savor that piece and walk away, Just like you did. You had a taste and you still stuck to your plan. Congrats.
