It's been a whole month...now I am gaining!

Sunday, December 20, 2009

Start: 280
Last MONTH: 155
This Week: 159.5
Weekly Loss : XXX GAINING
Total Loss: 120.5

Well, I have stopped exercising and started eating junk. I got so caught up with deadlines at work that I quit logging foods, cooking healthy foods, exercising, and even taking my vitamins. Now I am stuck in a rut.

I really don't want to start doing what I am supposed to be doing. It is so hard to get back on board after not doing it for so long. I hate it! But....too bad. I refuse to buy bigger clothes. I refuse to become the talk of everyone because I gain weight after WLS (because you know that is great gossip!). I refuse to feel bad about myself.

I soooo don't want to do this. I need some major support. I am going to start video blogging on YT again, too. I really cannot do this without support. I use to think I did not need my online buddies to succeed, but I do not have any intrinsic motivation left. I need something to keep me going. A contest challenge or something. It sucks that the new year will bring ANOTHER resolution to lose weight. I hope this is the last year for that!

You can do this. We are in our busy season right now. I decided I couldn't weight to get back on track until after the new year. Fix some healthy snacks ahead of time. When I go to the grocery store this week I got some fresh vegtables to take with me to work this week, cleaned and cut them up and put them in baggys. If I was running behind all I had to do was grab a baggy and run out the door.

You're no different than the rest of us... The key is you recognize what's happening and you're wanting to do something about it. If nothing else, you beat yourself up. Just don't focus on beating yourself up... give yourself a good talking to then get back to getting things done. You're reclaiming your life... remember that.

That's a pretty important thing to do and it definitely isn't an easy task.

    Good luck! You'll do it.

You CAN do this. I always have a 5 pound warning. If my weight goes up by 5 pounds I start beating back down again. If you lose one pound per week you will be right back on track in no time. Don't give up!!!

Well, after losing all that weight you have proven that you can do it! I hate exercising, logging food, as well but have not had the success you have. I only lost 6 lbs. since being on here around April or so. But I"m sticking with it and am going after the goal again. Just one thing....for those of us with weight issues, there will never be a year where weight in some form is not part of our resolutions. It is a constant struggle and it will never be over. Our bodies are just not made to be naturally thin. So enjoy the new year with a new devotion to your goals--just start today!
