Tiresome Republican Rhetoric

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

What is it with these Republicans and Independents??? They're stubborn actions and words, so against the regular American people, are driving me crazy and making me eat! I do not feel safe when they are talking. I feel victimized by the people who make our decisions. As a victim, I eat more and more. What if I can no longer afford to eat because they are making me poorer and poorer? What if I have to choose between my prescriptions and my expensive diet food? I want to throw my plate of spaghetti through the TV! emoticon

It is now 2014, and food is very expensive. I scout for meat deal, and am sick of trying to see if the manager's special or day old, which isn't is turning rainbow. I try to catch the Salmon, and chicken which are more of my staples, other than beans, and some times vegetarian. I used to spend $40.00 on a couple of bags of fruits 7 vegetables. I ate 4 fruits, and over 4 vegetables per day. Now I spend $20.00, and get 4 bags- at a Lebanese market. I don't know how they don't exploit us, or have cheaper prices, or if their stuff isn't chemically drown, yet I trust it as much as organic that it seems only the rich can afford. I do make bean without rice, and I have a lot -maybe a couple that I truly enjoy. I know if they cut off my money, I can cook anything-because I try & use a lot of different spices- a hobby of mine. eva

The most empowering thing you can do is to realize that you are in control of your emotions/reactions to those who are making idiotic statements. I'm not suggesting that you turn off the tv (nor throw anything at it, either).

Just calm down and realize that you don't want to give people power over how you feel. I know it is hard to laugh at idiotic political I won't suggest that. Just recognize that they are giving you even more strength in your convictions.

    Be well...and hang in there.
