I have a FB account, but haven't been in a while. Alot of my time is spent on SP, but even with that I've had to reduce myself to one hour a day. I'm between a rock and hard place on the FB account because my daughter and I share the same name, so I'm thinking of turning it over to her and keep the a known password so that i can monitor. I guess I should log back on soon and switch my password. Thanks for the dialogue!

I don't do much on it and change my passwords often there because of people hacking into other peoples accounts on FaceBook. I don't play any of the games or do anything that involves giving out my info there and I am thinking of canceling my account also.

I've got my settings on FB set to private. I live in Europe so it's a way to keep up with friends and relatives in the States. I'm not always on it, though. Can't stand some of the applications I get invited to. I try to keep it simple. Did get some strange friendship requests, but that only happened twice. I didn't like the fact that they accessed my contact list and started sending out "invitations" from me without my permission, so I went in and deleted all the requests I personally didn't send.
I just LOVE SP. It gets most of my "social" time.

I have been of fb for a long time but actually don't like it. I hate all the things people send out that I have to ignore. I have to limit my time online (bad for the movement issue) and fb is not a priority...must be my age.

Facebook and Sparks are both labelled "social networks." But for me there was a difference. On FB you dont really learn and grow as a person. It is fun and you do connect with family and friends. But I would rather make friends that I KNOW are gonna be good association, rather than get involved in just "socializing." I actually felt disjointed on FB and lost. Here, I know what i want out of the site and i know what the site wants out of me. The FB link to delete the account is still on my page. Be where what is important to you is getting fulfilled. See ya on the team! Hugs Laurie

I got off. Canceled my account. Was spending way too many hours on it and thinking about it when I wasn't. It can be DEADLY to our physical health by distracting us from the reason we joined SP in the first place.

I only joined it because we had a social networking training course at work. I also got some pretty weird emails from total strangers so I deactivated my account. I know a lot of people really love it though.

I like it so far, but I'm staying away from the games. I already spend too much time on the computer!

Facebook can be fun. I don't like how they're always trying to get access to your contact list so I don't check it much.

I do have a SP link on my Facebook page and occasionally send a blog or article to it. I spend most of my online time with SP.

    Have fun with it...Deb
