This is tough!

Wednesday, December 09, 2009

OK, I have been exercising consistently for awhile and have not lost very much weight. I have lost an inch off my waist though and am very happy about that. I would sure like to see a bigger change in my scale though. I think I need to tighten up on my eating and probably start tracking it and see if that helps. I am not going to give up though, not this time. My body might as well get in line!

Tracking food is definitely important. When I started, I was amazed at exactly what I was eating. The spark tool is awesome, because it shows your calories, carbs, fats and proteins. Plus, you can add additional nutrients to track. So far, I have added fiber and sodium. It's a bit time consuming at first, but it gets easier.

Keep up the good work with the exercise!

I have tried so many times to lost weight and have heard over and over again, you must track your food. I hated doing that task. Now that I am tracking it has made a WORLD of difference in my weight loss plan. It is also very motivational when you succeed in meeting your calorie goal for the day and it keeps you in line on the days you go over. Keep moving forward because WE CAN do this! Love you!
