It's Early

It's 4:30 in the morning and I can't sleep so here I am.

It's been awhile since I blogged, didn't realize it's been that long. Well, I'm doing better on my "me time". In fact, yesterday I spent most of the day (minus making lunch) in my sewing area. I'm making a little jacket for my little fur grand baby....Zeus. I had some left over material from my robe and they had a pattern on my robe pattern sheet for it, so I thought why not for Christmas. I even machine embroidered "Pluto" on it and put his name on it too. My sample piece of Pluto I will make into a little pillow for him to put in his basket.

I'm back to doing my workouts in the morning. Yesterday I rode my bike for 35 min. did a little ST and then cleaned up the house some for another 35 min. and that was all before I went to sew. I found some cassette tapes for stress relief and depression and weight control. I've used the one on weight control before and it does really help......so I listened to that one the other night and fell asleep but, it must have sunk in because I didn't have the urge to eat junk. Last night I decided to listen to the stress relief one and fell asleep.....very soothing voice on them, I hope it helps me relieve some stress.

Today we have to take my MIL to her heart doctor. I wasn't going to go at first but then decided that I will, it will make it a lot easier for DH trying to get a wheel chair, get her in it and park her inside to stay warm while he goes and parks the car. Her doctor's office is in a medical building attached to the hospital so we are able to use their wheel chairs, she would never be able to walk that far with her walker.

Well, it's 5am and I'm still awake, guess I'll go read my email.

    Good job on getting back to doing your exercises. Your 'me time" is very important too.
    I used to have some tapes on weight loss, I'll have to look and see if I still have them. They did help me too, but that was many many moons ago. Keep up the positive attitude.

    It sounds like you are getting a handle on getting your exercise in. That's the hardest thing for me. I do walk for 30-60 minutes each day, but don't do any other exercises consistently.
    I listen to a "sleep music" tape to go to sleep. I've never made it past the second song but I've always wondered what would happen if the first song came on the radio as I was driving... would I go instantly to sleep!?
    I hope all is okay with your mother-in-law and her doctor's appointment goes well.
