Friday is (___________) Day!

Friday, December 04, 2009

Well, we got an email from HR this week: "Friday is JEANS DAY!"

This is a rarity. When the president is out of town, if it's a friday, we sometimes get a 'jeans day'. Ahh. Comfortable, relaxing jeans.

Yeah, but I kinda prefer shorts and sandals day. But we never have that.

Or how about Snuggie day?

Well, I decided to take the comfort level up a notch today. I created Pajama Day. Ahh, comfortable, relaxing pajamas. No one else celebrated Pajama Day with me. The HR lady has not popped thru yet. HR has not approved this last-minute holiday.

Oh, I crack myself up.

Have a super weekend, y'all.

Ha!! You totally crack me up. We don't have Jeans day here at work. But as for me, I'd love flannel jammies with dogs and recliner day. But I'm thinking that won't happen...

    LOVE the photo!

I am recommending you for a job with Google! You are wearing their official uniform!! If employers were smarter they would let their employees wear whatever they wanted so that they would be more comfortable and more productive. Someday my friend....Someday..... You are a visionary.....

Ah, PJs in public - one of the things I miss about college, rolling out of bed and zombie-walking across the quad for an 8:00 class.

The people in Shanghai often putter about in public in their pajamas. Apparently, it's evolved as a cultural phenomenon and is seen as a sign of status and wealth, as only those with a certain discretionary income can afford the luxury of pajamas.

Always eager to ruin a good thing, I hear the government is trying to crack down on it in time for the 2010 World Expo, which China is hosting, as they view it as an embarrassment.
