WHEN GOD SPEAKS PART 2

God never quits speaking to us. It is amazing the way God works to bring about His purpose and to use us to minister to others. Recently I needed to contact my bank and although I tried several times the answering machine answered me. You know how that goes.
Well, I decided to go to the bank in person and a very delightful young woman helped me. We somehow began talking about the Lord and people are always curious about what I do. I am more than pleased to oblige.
She said that recently another missionary came in and that God had taken care of her for a few years while on the field. What an opening. I asked if she had time to hear about how God had taken care of me and she did. She listened eagerly as I spoke. When I finished she said "God wanted you to come in today". I believe he had the timing right also as if I had gone earlier I might have had someone else to wait on me.
She had been worried about her own future. Just a day or two before another minister had come in and left. Then he sent her an e-mail telling her God wanted him to tell her that He would meet her needs, to just trust in Him.
It is truly wonderful how God speaks to us. It can be about weight loss or other problems but He speaks.
We are not worthy but He is. I am glad for Christmas as we are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour, the one who speaks to us through the Holy Spirit.
