Ay yay yay.
After almost two months of not tracking my food, plus moving an hour away (which is always awful) and slacking on my weight training, I'm back up eight pounds.
(sigh) (big sigh) (and yet another SIGH) ...lol...
Alas. I have remained a regular in the gym, doing cardio at least 2-3 times each week. And I have kept off 8 pounds successfully. So, I prevail. Plus, I am still going strong on my "Fast Food Fast." 125 days! Four entire months... And to me, my success of having maintained at least the 8 pounds off is undoubtedly related to the fact that fast food has not been part of my diet.
--->Sidenote: You should try this! If fast food is a vice for you, acknowledge it. Then, TAKE HEED. The burgers, the fries, the pies... they will knock you back down everytime. Why? Because it's so easy to grab a quick meal, or two, or three, then twenty, until you're ten pounds heavier. Try fasting for one week. Then just keep going. Your belly, thunder-thighs and wallet will thank you. Trust me...lol.
Anyway, back to my previous thought, I'm a tad disappointed with myself, but hitting the "Re-Start" button nonetheless.
I've already written myself a "forgiven" letter. I put it below, just to show you how I do it. Direct, but caring, you know?
"You have backtracked. You have now gained back eight hard-lost pounds. Think about that! Eight pounds shed, now back on your tummy. NOT O-K. But, you are human and you make mistakes. You're forgiven. Now, get over it. I've already taken the liberty to push back your target dates. So, by the end of december, I expect 15 more pounds gone. Lots of love. -Your number one supporter"
