thanksgiving

Monday, November 30, 2009

Perhaps it was silly of me to make my first mini-goal after Thanksgiving, because that did not get met. I really did try to eat well while I was out of town, but my options were pretty limited. If I hadn't ended up making brussels sprouts, there would have been nothing green on the Thanksgiving table. Not to mention the lack of vegetables at every other meal at my fiance's parents house. Is that really normal?

I also ended up getting seconds even though I wasn't hungry anymore. But it was Thanksgiving and that's what it is about, so I'm not going to let it worry me. n the way there and home, I had to live off of road food, which is never very easy. All in all, it was not a good week for food or exercise! I did go on a walk with his mom and aunt on Thansgiving after we ate. It was a pretty short walk, but I figured it was better than doing nothing.

Anyway, I'm off to the gym, but before that, I am going to redo my goals, and this time, no negotiating! The past few days the scale has said 173.6, I went up a bit, but from now on it is downhill!
