Doing things a little differently...

So, my dizzy spell on Sunday taught me that I need to do things a little differently. Sparkpeople's calculated calorie intake is simply not enough for me. I have adjusted my daily intake to 1800 (that's 200 more than the calculated range). I am also making a promise to myself to NOT BEAT MYSELF UP if I go over that number. It's a guideline, not a hard and fast rule.

So here is my new plan:
-Eat something every 3 hours.
-Eat a minimum of one serving of whole grains per day.
-Increase my intake of fresh fruit and veggies.
-Use the meal planner as a guide to figuring out what to eat.
-Focus on exercise rather than calorie restriction.
-Drink at least 8 cups of water per day.

I'll see how that works and keep adjusting if necessary.
