Are You Shopping on Black Friday?

While all of you are shopping on black Friday, we will be on our way to ID. We're spending a week and will return the following Friday. Happy shopping and Happy Thanksgiving.

I've decided to make a plan and stick to it. Part of the plan is eating meat and vegetables along with a sliver of dessert. Tomorrow I'll make the rest of the dishes for dinner and clean up the leaves on the back deck. I'm also going to brine the turkey overnight.

    My trunk will be full of things I just have to have. Hubby is a big shopper and so am I, we love sales.
    We will by Christmas things for next year as we shop ahead of time. Last year we finished our shopping for Christmas on January 4th. This was a good year.

    You have a safe and great trip to ID. I and my DH are cooking the traditional meal for family and playing Wii bowling, which my Mother loves to play at the age of 80. Absolutely will not find me in the stores on Black Friday. I am one that does not like to shop the way it is, and to be pushed around and things grabbed out of my hands, no thank you. Have a delicious brine turkey. Sounds good. emoticon

    Nope - as a matter of fact, I'll be taken out to lunch with a church friend for my belated b-day (it's actually today, but we decided on Friday to have the lunch). There's no big shopping push this year - I'm just now recovering from a bout of joblessness (at least on a temp basis), and due to major family losses we don't have a significant shopping list.

    PS: couldn't help but notice your login name - I also think bulldogs are cool.....

    As for me, we are planning an awesome lunch picnic and volleyball.

    I can see the attraction to shopping on Black Friday - the deals are great! And some people love being out in the crowds with holiday music playing and all. But I don't care for that, so I'll be at home.
