A Beautiful Afternoon

Today I spent some quality time with my daughter alone. We had lunch at the Olive Garden and then went to JoAnn Fabrics and I helped her pick out some material. She has a pair of drapes for the living room but, they're a little short. So she thought she would add to the bottom and then use the same material and make tabs for the tops. She loves the southwestern theme and we found the perfect material and colors.
It was nice getting out for about four hours. My MIL even said that I needed to get out and to spend some time with my daughter.
It's official, I'm cooking Thanksgiving dinner, not like I didn't know that. Hey, I cook every day so what's one more. My daughter and her boyfriend are coming over for homemade pumpkin pie. I told her I was going to make it from one of the pumpkins we bought. I wanted to save the pumpkin seeds to eat and I thought it's been a LONG time since I made pie from a real pumpkin. They are going to his family for dinner but not till evening.
It's still crazy around here but I'm trying to get my "ME" time in every day. I'm working out in some form, even if it's cleaning, every day. I joined the BL Wild Winter Challenge. I feel, in fact I know, I put a couple pounds back on so this will be good for me. I want to see the 140's so bad, then the 30's and finally the 20's. But, we are going to take baby steps.
Well, I have to look up the Olive Garden site and see how bad I did today. I know one thing I had that was bad and that was an italian margarita. It was gooooood.
