I almost don't want to! Amost....

Friday is my date night with my guy...has been for all the time we've been going out since we live and hour apart and both have families. So of course it's wonderful and great and always fun and we eat, and we drink, and we eat, and we drink....get the picture? I want to continue what we've done...because it's "us", but on the other hand...I've just started this weight loss mission and kind of wish I wouldn't..ya know? The thing is...he's a big guy...who can eat big and drink big...and we like to cook, or go out and try new places...oy vay...and I'm not even Jewish! Ha! Maybe I'll just enjoy this one day a week...and still be mindful at the same time and not eat the huge portions I usually do. Worth a try....but the wine? No promises...ha!

    You sound like you're in my shoes with the date night but I get date night 4-5 days a week and have to endure the eat, eat and drink, drink on all occasions. My boyfriend is tiny and NOT mindful @ all with his food choices because he thinks he can eat whatever .. with that said it is so hard with me dieting or at least trying because who can refuse, CiCi's pizza buffet, KFC, Bojangles (cajun fries), ribs, fried fish & chips ... just to name a few, hope I didn't make you hungry emoticon -- Anyways I am trying to come up with fresh ideas of stuff we can do and eat ALONE if you know what I mean ... we need to first off choose places that offer delicious healthy food, like salads and grilled dishes .. then for activity walk in the park, game night w/ low fat goodies maybe even a bike ride. It just depends on what you two like to do. Just ideas .. I sure hope to have luck with this myself!
