Trying to do right

Thursday, November 19, 2009

Well, I know I should probably give myself more time, but I'm feeling really frustrated that I can't seem to be motivated to eat or exercise right since I've been back. I am exercising, but not as much as I was. About half of what I was doing. I had two weeks of my routine and I guess I messed up by blowing it so bad on vacation.

I think I'm going to make myself sit down and make a new goal list and start from stratch. The good news is that I'm ahead on the weight loss area than I was six months ago, thank goodness. Lord, please help me!

Any time you make the right choices is the right time! Sitting down and reassessing and writing new goals is probably just the right thing. You've just returned from vacation to the added complication of the holidays! Just do what you can. As long as you're pointed in the right direction, you'll be fine.

    Happy Thanksgiving Tambi and family!

It takes up to 2 weeks to make a new habit (and if you're a Flybaby like me .. more like 2 months! lol) .. it takes 2 days to break that habit .... lol .. seriously, just give yourself more time to get back into the swing of things. Right now you're probably stressing about Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, right? Making new goals is a good start! wooohoo, you can do it!

It's hard getting back into the swing. Ask me how I know. emoticon But I do know that if you jump into the challenge--which emphasizes the basics--and check in with us daily, you'll be more likely to get moving again sooner! If you're still exercising, you have a big advantage. Don't quit! You're almost there, and YOU CAN get back in the good habits. emoticon Does that help? ;)

The important thing is that you don't give up. Hang in there. Making new goals might be just what you need to get going again. Praying for you. Big hug. emoticon
