Well, Shoot! 5 Steps forward, 4 steps back

Today was Wednesday weigh day, and it was not sooo fun. Last week's Wednesday felt great! It was a celebration to finally be out of the 170's, to finally be at a healthy BMI, I had lost (SURPRISE!) 5 POUNDS! Insane, but it felt soo good to finally see some huge scale movement. This morning though, I saw some big scale movement too--in the other direction.
Gained 4 lbs back. Last week 166, this week 170.
Ironically, today I started a new "Lifestyle Habit", and the theme is Overcoming Setbacks. This woman's face peeking up from my e-mail made me giggle a bit, cause I'm sure that's what I looked like this morning on the scale:
So I'm down, but I'm not out. Weight is a fickle thing, and I'm going to count the reasons why it wasn't very nice to me this morning:
- Didn't eat very great this weekend.
- Water Retention?
- Eating salty foods
- Etc, etc. .......
I'm not going to let get in the way of my goals. I will be in 160-ville by Thanksgiving. I still have a week, and I only need to lose 1 lb. to do it. Here's to sticking to it, even when the going is rough!
