Believing in Myself, no Matter What! daily article by Sparkpeople.

Sparkpeople's awesome articles about goal setting and all the wonderful encouragement I get from its members, have helped me find ways to believe I CAN persist and my efforts WORK. Like tracking my food throughout the day to keep from having that extra helping or midnight snack and keeping track of my accomplishments to refute my self doubt. I am now realizing that I no longer have to believe my self criticism that weakens my self esteem and motivation.

By talking back to my defeatist memories/thoughts "It will work," or "I can do this," and setting out that day or very soon to MAKE it work (like dressing warm and dry, exercising outside, and finding that I LIKE it). By "putting it into action", I can actually reinforce the more encouraging thoughts in my mind, OVERRIDE the others, and BELIEVE in myself.

Thank you Spark Team and fellow Sparkers!!
