Thanks for the prayers for my brother..

I want to thank all of my friends for the prayers for my brother Bill. He is in a nursing home now and has a trach, a feeding tube and cannot talk or swallow yet. Hopefully he will again someday. It will take his brain time to heal. I don't know how much it will heal. that is up to God. He knows us and smiles and nods yes or no to many things. Some things he does not understand or remember. His short term memory is gone...he does good with long term though... He cannot walk but maybe when they get him healthier he will walk again. He still has two bullets in his face and the one in his brain exploded from the occipital area into the cerebellum... We are blessed he is even still alive. I know God kept him a live for a reason so I am waiting to know the reason and what to do next for my brother... Tomorrow I go to social security to file for his early retirement but that too will take a while. It has only been 7 months since he was shot so I still have a lot of hope for his recovery. Please keep up the prayers.. and I will keep you updated as things change. God bless, Dotty
