So I haven't really posted in here in FOREVER. I think every time I do post, I promise to do so more often. So I won't say that this time, I just WILL post more often.
A lot has happened in the last few months. My weight has pretty much stayed between 170-172. While eating healthily is normal to me now, I do let my self splurge on pizza or something I bake every once and a while and I haven't beat myself up over it. I haven't really been tracking my food either, so I am pretty pleased that I have been able to stay steady without overthinking everything.
For my birthday I got 4 personal trainer sessions at my gym. I've done 3 so far and I've loved it. I have a new workout program set up which include strength training which I haven't really done for over a year. I'm excited to start making that part of my routine.
Also, I got engaged last month! We are getting married in August and I already bought my dress. It is strapless so that will definitely motivate me to do those arm strengthening exercises to tone up!
I'm hoping to use the wedding date as motivation to finally lose these last 15 pounds or so. About 155 is my ultimate goal. We'll see when I'm closer exactly where my ideal weight is. It might be a little more, it might be a little less. I'm not hoping to look like a stick figure, I'm pretty curvy and plant to stay that way. Just a little smaller and more toned.
I'm going to set up some smaller goals to help me along the way, so here we go:
169 by Thanksgiving (Nov 26)
165 by Christmas (Dec 25)
I'll stick to those two for now and add the next after I reach the first. Wish me luck!
