Eating & Running

I exercise in the mornings, largely because if I put it off I am way too good at using those hours at work to come up with better ways to spend my afternoon. But, also, I can't eat and then run. I can't eat and then jog or hop or spin or do much of anything, really. If my stomach isn't empty, well, it's just not good.
But this week - my first back consistently in the gym in awhile - I find myself STARVING on the way to the gym.
During the actual exercise it subsides, most likely because I have more pressing concerns like not falling off the treadmill.
Then I take a shower and I drop everything because I'm shaky, then I get to work and I'm ravenous again.
I suppose I could get a granola bar or something to eat in between the treadmill and the shower, but I swear this wasn't a problem before. Not even in the beginning of getting back into a routine.
