Week's End Mini Goals

The past few days I have been reading articles and trying to figure out how to really get started without setting myself up for failure. I have a bad habit of jumping in head first and then bailing after a few days. So this time I decided to start slower and get back into my South Beach Diet as well as incorporating healthier habits such as more water, exercise, and me time. So here are a few goals I have set for myself for the rest of this week and through the weekend:

* No pop of any kind (I will drink my morning coffee and stick with water or tea if I go out)

* Get some sort of exercise once before Sunday

* Start a food journal to keep with me so I can keep track of what I am eating

* Spend one hour by myself doing something I enjoy

I started the no pop thing yesterday and was very successful but was very tired at the end of the day. I was in bed asleep before 10 pm! I drank my cup of morning coffee that I take with me to the office then switched to water. I did not get my 8 glasses of water but I did drink 5. I think one of my goals for next week will be to get all of my water intake for the day.
