I have been remenencing a lot about the good times Tim and I had. Last night there was a church service remembering those who passed away during the past year. It brought tears to my eyes. It was beautifully done. Everyone who lost a love one was given a candle. I'm not looking forward to the activities that we did together during the holidays.

Purging the pain, tears and profound sorrow is so cathartic. We NEED to do this, we do not relish it, but at some point, the pain is replaced with dull aches, then with smiling memories.. gratitude also helps,, My attitude is gratitude. The person we miss, is patting us on the shoulder right now, this is a comfort and a pleasure.

The holidays can be difficult. Hope you do something to Celebrate Tim during the next few months - letting his light shine through you.

    Hugs, Sunny

Those church services are really wonderful, and I think they help a lot with the grieving process. Our church has one too and when my dad died two years ago, I was right there and felt at peace. I feel your pain, Patrician and wished I was right there to give you a hug and a shoulder to lean on.
