well I went on friday to see my doc in winnipeg and his scale said I was down to 203, than yesterday I went to see my dietitian and her scale said I was down to 211 which one do you believe??? this is so fusturating, I would love to believe the 203 one it just sets me back thinking that all the hard work I have been doing the last month was worth nothing...... I think scales should be banned from docs offices their so overrated and we dwell on the number so much that when we don't get the number that we want some of us just want to give up.!

I do believe that the scale on the rug will be off as you could be rocking on it.
I hate my doctors scale, there is a 4 pound difference from hers to mine.
What did the scale at the dietitian say the last time you were there? Could it be possible that you're still doing ok?
Good luck, the scales can be a scary thing!

ty ALB for replying, I ususally get weighted at the dietitians office more, but her scale was on a carpet and my docs was on bare floor, would that make a difference? cause it was 7lbs different that's alot to be out... and there was no way I gained 7 lbs in 2 days lol, lord help me if I did....

i'd say you pick the scale that you are going to be using regularly, all scales can weigh you differently plus it also depends on the time of day you weigh yourself too.

pick a scale and the same time of day and go by those...try not to get frustrated as there are so many factors involved...

if you've been eating well and exercising and you've been enjoying it then you should be happy with yourself, the weight coming off will be a bonus and it will come off...

    keep up the great work
