This has been erking at me all day and I feel so guilty i have to share with all my Sparkfriends so you can give me a good licking. I won't mind I need it. Yesterday I had just come back from visiting with my mom because she was not feeling well. She sometimes have problems with her heart. I was a little worried. She is doing much better now, but yesterday I ate something I knew I shouldn't have eaten. I had one of those pizza pastas dishes with penne pasta, alfredo sauce and extra chicken and the thickest bread you ever seen from Dominos!!! Has anyone seen this thing. Do you know how many calories this thing must have. If anyone knows please don't tell me I don't want to know. Have I lost my mind. I only ate half but I could have kicked myself all the way back from Dominos. I guess my appetite was at the most high because I was a little worried about my mom. Today I will be going home and completing my a 5k jog to burn off some of that mess, but it sure was good.
It happens to the best of us. But notice the habit change. You immediately slipped back to the healthy lifestyle. This sometimes sends people into an unhealthy marathon. But notice "Habit" prevails. (Whether Good or Bad) No food is bad food, but we definitely have to practice moderation or pay with the consequences.
OK so you did it. Was it good? I mean really, if you enjoyed it, that's a good thing. If you didn't but ate it anyway, then yeah you need a kick in the pants, lol! And you did show some restraint by only eating half, you could have went nuts on the thing. And it's probably not a bad idea to look at the nutritional value anyway, just so that you know for sure what the values really are. Might not be as bad as you think, might be worse, might be just as you thought, but at least you will know and you know where you stand. So you ate it, maybe go for a nice brisk walk outside to even things out...you're doing good, being real and honest. Just what are you going to do about it now? Bless you my child - LOL!!! So, you think that this hasn't happened to the rest of us? It has. It may not have been with Dominos but for me it was Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory a couple of weeks ago. It was sooooooooo good!!! AND it was 1500+ calories a slice. YUM!!!
Just start over today and work it out. Get back up again. You're funny!!!

Don't beat yourself up. You decided to get right back on track. YOu have a new lifestyle. You checked yourself and uncovered the reason for the dip in the comfort food. We all have that in us. I decided to be real with my program. I know I cannot go through life without fried chicken wings, ranch dressing, and some fries. LOL I must allow it once in a while. You have made wonderful progress. And the fact that you can RUN 5 miles is an accomplishment in itself. You ate, you processed, and you got right back on track. I'd say you are doing exceptionally well and your lifestyle has changed.
Can't kick you because it happens. Stress makes a lot of us eat. At least you didn't eat the whole thing! But I must ask --- where's the other half? Did you trash it, or are you saving it for another meal? If you're saving it then I'll give you a swift 3191 days ago
Monique every once in a while cheating is ok...food of course..consider it a reward for all the other good things..BUTDON'T DO IT AGAIN FOR A WHILE.. Enjoy you 5 K ...I will think of you when I do my 5 miles (training for my first 5K run Saturday) Stay good
