This morning was interesting, from a mental standpoint. I woke up this morning, having prepared myself the night before for walking 4 miles with the WATP fat burning dvd, then rolled over after my alarm clock went off and slept for another hour. Hey, I was tired. But after I couldn't sleep any more, I did get up and convinced myself to just walk maybe one mile...but then stop because I just didn't feel like doing a whole four miles, and I was pretty wiped out still from yesterday (very hectic and stressful week at the office). So I laced up my shoes, popped in the DVD and started walking...one mile. By the time I got through the first half, I decided that I could do another mile after this, but then stop. Got through the second mile...and continued to the Third...and said, "What the heck...I've walked this much, might as well walk all 4 miles!."

So sometimes, all it takes as lacing on those shoes and starting with one mile...next thing you know, Mission Accomplished!!! Woohoo!!!

    I can't say how many times I've told myself just 10 minutes, I count minutes instead of miles, then I say just 10 minutes more and finally Jill you've been out here this long just finish. Can not say how many times, every time? But it works. THe weight didn't know I was reluctant to walk. I'm glad this is working for you to!!
