Into Everything

Thursday, October 22, 2009

I'm sure some one out there has had a child or two, maybe even three, that seems to want to get into EVERYTHING. My almost 18-month DS is one of those precious children. Oh, to remain calm each time I have I to say, "NO!" would be a blessing. Many times a day I have to stop and take a deep breath (and not just from exercise) and thank God that I even have this little one to speak to. Does he get into the garbage can every time I turn my back? Yes. Does he climb on the dining room table when I leave the room? Absolutely! Does he pull ALL of the neatly folded laundry right out of the basket I JUST folded? You betcha! Does he melt my heart when his eyes light up when Daddy comes home? Not a doubt in the world! Does he make me smile by the way he tries to imitate his older siblings? Yes, ma'am. Is he a blessing from God? ABSOLUTELY! Even when he's into everything. Enjoy your little blessings!

(As I went to hit the post blog entry button I hear from the kitchen, "MOM, he's in the garbage AGAIN!" Gotta go! Have a great day everyone!

Lol... funny :) You are such a good writer and mom... you should consider writing a book when your children are older and you have a bit more time! I really enjoy reading your blogs and I am quite sure you have TONS of mother wisdom to share with us!!! emoticon
