I just have to confess - I just ate an entire Amy's frozen pizza - and not the small individual ones either! Basically, I just downed 3 servings of yumminess, even if the crust was a bit crispy for my taste. And here's the kicker - that was lunch. I now have no room for dinner. But I knew that going in, and I enjoyed every bite. No I'm not falling off the wagon. I'm just enjoying one of life's pleasures - I guess pizza is my comfort food and I don't eat it nearly as much as I used to!
I'm not complaining - I'm embracing my decision. I've worked hard now for over two months, I've lost over 20 pounds, and I decided it was time to give myself a little bit of culinary pleasure. Why eat the whole thing? Because I wanted to, plain and simple. Am I stuffed? Yabetcha. Am I sick to my stomach - no way. Will I do it again? Maybe, but not for a long time. It was good, but the crust will make me think about not doing it again any time too soon. Maybe after I've lost another 20 pounds - but I think by then, I'll want to indulge in something a little more sinful - like chocolate tofu cream pie.
All in all, last week was great - well, mostly anyways. I had laryngitis all week, so that made communication "interesting" to say the least. I'm mostly over it now, so next week should be looking good. I'm back to my daily exercise - in fact, I did 30 minutes minimum cardio every day last week and got back to my Curves routine by Friday. This week, I'm looking forward to 3x Curves in addition to my morning 2-3 mile walk. Today I did a 4 mile "fat burning" walk - I wanted to do 5, but not very much, so I chose to do 4 instead.
Well, I need to get back to my work, but just wanted to touch base and let you all know that even with the pizza splurge, I'm going strong and hope you are too! Keep up the Spark!
