If you're reading this blog, join me in a prayer of thanksgiving to God for the arrival of Liam Jack on October 17 at 2:08 PM! There are no photos available yet, or there would be one here :o).
At 1:45 PM the doctor gave my son and dil the choice to keep trying with pushing, or to go on to a c-section. They prayed and decided it was time to help baby out. I believe this was a God-directed decision (lots of family members praying) because they discovered that the way the baby was wedged in, he was never coming out! He has a pretty good sized bruise on his skull, and his face is a little purple with bruising, but he is a trooper, and has a caring Heavenly Father, and he'll be fine.
After birth he had to have a chest x-ray and be given some glucose to get his blood sugar up so he scared his mommy and daddy a little bit again. By this time all the grandparents were on the way to the hospital of course!
God is good, and now all is well. We left the little threesome bonding together at 7:00 PM. Praise God! Thanks for praying with me.
