Woooosh.....can I really keep this up.

Saturday, October 17, 2009

I have completed my third day walk/run today. I am feeling so hyped about this but... you know how you can start something and get so motivated then WHAM!! Hear comes the obstacles that stand in your way if it be work, children or just getting so busy you don't have time or you just slow down because your tired. I have been at this point before. I don't want to be there again. I am pushing myself so hard to keep this going. Deep down inside I know I can do it but would life let me. I'm going to have to KEEP HOPE ALIVE! and try to make it through. My legs feel alot better this time because I stretched before and after.

Today I completed:

Distance: 10.58 mi

Time: 2:43.14

pace: 15'25"

Calories: 1,830

TTYL and have a happy and healthy weekend.

WOW Monique, thats great. Don't stress about the potential obstacles. Remember to be flexible. This will help you deal with the unexpected, should it occur. You will be fine. emoticon

Freaking amazing!! Stretching helps but building muscle around the knees will help keep you injury free(leg extensions and hamstring curls). You know you better than me so mix it up 'cause life happens. Rather see you mix up while staying consistent vs burning out or getting an overuse injury. Keep up the great work!

    That's AWESOME, Monique.

Keep up the good work and try to remember that life really doesn't choose if it will let you do what you want/need to do. It's YOU that has that choice ... not the kids ... not even life. It's all up to you. Do YOU want it? Do YOU have the desire?

I think you do. I think you have worked waaaaaaay to hard to not get to where you want to be. I think you are strong enough ... maybe even stronger then YOU know.

On my Sparkpage there are 3 quotes. Quotes that I look to often to help me and give me strength. They are:

    1) Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.

    2) To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.

    3) To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.

Maybe they can help you in your search for strength. It's not a far or long search though. In fact, it's close. Just as close as you want it to be.

Have a great weekend, Monique. And congratulations on your amazing progress!
