So I'm telling everyone I see that I won the challenge today in the Biggest Loser game for Wii. Well, there's more to it.

See, last night I had trouble getting to sleep because I was annoyed about work stuff. And then around 2am, some joker peels out in his car somewhere nearby, squealing his tires. Woke me up, I was halfway across the room before I even realized what was happening. I walked around, trying to figure out what the source of the noise was (I didn't realize it was tires until this evening when DH told me). And of course I had trouble getting back to sleep again. Ugh.

So this morning I was really dragging, getting the kids ready at 6:30am. *sigh* I wanted to go back to bed, have a nice nap, and then get up and do my workout later. But I didn't. Instead, I checked SP, chatted with DH, and did my workout. After that I ate breakfast and then jumped in the shower. A very leisurely start to the day, but no nap.

So the workout was actually a 'challenge' like you see on the show. To me it felt a little like interval training--give your all, rest, give your all, rest, again and again. I think it was six times, actually. It took me four rounds to figure out what the game *really* wanted me to do as far as movement was concerned, but once I had it figured out, I did really well. As I type this my calves are stiffening up and my hips are too, getting ready to be sore tomorrow. :)

But right up until about 8:30pm I've been feeling really good today. On a high, I guess, from exercising. I did one or two chores, went to the mall and tried on some clothes (no purchases today), then went grocery shopping. Back to get DH and the kids and we went out to dinner, then shopping again for pumpkins.

Dinner was yummy, there's a wonderful place nearby that does Thai, Japanese, and other asian cuisines. I had a lovely Pho soup with chicken, the kids had chicken satay and a vegetable stir fry, and DH had a Pad Kra Pow after starting with some sushi. This place also serves some little banana coins fried in spring roll wrappers, drizzled with honey and sesame seeds for dessert. Those are yummy but of course too many would not be good. I stuffed myself silly on broth, vegetables, and some noodles and chicken of course. I have no very great notion of how much I ate (I brought half the noodles home, I think), but I'm willing to accept what other SPers have logged for Chicken Pho.

Now, I am both rambling and drooping. I think I might sleep well tonight.

Wonder if I'll be able to walk tomorrow. :)
