My wife and I joined SP on 7/27/09, and initially we seemed to lose weight fairly easily. I started at 251 and gradually came down to 238.6 lbs, but i just can't seem to get below that number.
I do cardio for up to 75 minutes, and ride as much as 13 miles three times a week, I do strength training for a much as 90 minutes, with 8 separate exercises three times a week.
I'm baffled! The only thing that comes to mind is that possibly some of the medication I take for Type II Diabetes is either causing me to retain water or is causing me to maintain my weight. I also take a blood pressure medication, but I believe it has a diuretic in it to take care of the excess water.
I am confused, but not defeated. I am still going forward and I seem to be slimming down in size if not weight.
