OK, I've been MIA.
Thanks, Mary, for calling me out on it. :)
I love how supportive you all are! I know I've been gone and I've been slacking a bit. I've taken some walks here and there but overall I have to suck it up and admit I've been a super lazy girl.
And yet my weight hasn't budged. 175 is where my body seems happy. I bust my ass and eat rabbit food and I lose an ounce if I'm lucky, or I go to Geneva and gorge myself on dark chocolate and it stays the same. I don't get it.
On the other hand, my body used to be happy at 185, 195, 215, etc., so I again have to take a step back and realize I'm not one of those people who can eat lettuce and miraculously lose 10 pounds. This takes awhile. A LONG WHILE.
So I'll be happy with my zero-sum game and get back to the gym for the one week I'm home and see what happens.
At least I made it to the gym this morning and after not running for weeks I was pleasantly surprised to last 22 minutes and then walk another 10. Not too shabby, even if it was a super slow pace.
