Day two...can't believe what I accomplished.

I set out again this morning to complete another walk/run goal. I was so mad at my husband for making me late because instead of leaving at 7:00am I left at 9:00am. We were heading to the park together so I can do my run/walk and he can fish. When we got there I jump out of the car put on my Nike+ and took off. I couldn't wait to get started. He was like ok see you later. I didn't mean to just leave without saying anything but I was upset because I was late and because I wanted to get started. It felt so good to be able to run with everyone else. I use to just look at other people run by me everytime I went there to fish and use to be disappointed in myself. I pushed myself even harder today didn't mean to but I did. My goal today was to just complete 3 miles and burn 400 calories. So today I did way better than yesterday:

Yesterday:

Distance: 2.59 miles
Time: 36:38
Pace: 14'06"
calories: 449


Today:

Distance: 6.84 miles
Time: 1:57:07
Pace: 17'06"
Calories: 1,184

I am so proud because I couldn't believe I can do it. I realize that if I put my mind to it I can accomplish it. Setting goals is very important I believe that is what's keeping me determined. I think everyone should find that motivation to keep them focus and feel that determination that they can succeed. I just proven that to myself today.

    Boy you kicked butt on that run/walk. October 11th must have been a day for couples fighting..lol. Me and my husband got into it that day..and I remember because it was his birthday. emoticon

    Congrats...and yes setting goals is what keeps us motivated along with the support from others. Keep up the good work and I am working on some goals now because I keep falling off track.
