getting back

Thursday, October 08, 2009

I am slowly getting back on track from taking a week off to visit family. I didn't think it effected me but I have been going strong since returning and haven't gotten back into the healthy lifestyle we had before going.

We returned late Sat eve, worked all day Sun and went to the gym on Monday eve after half day work but felt really tired. Tues was non stop starting at 6:30 am to about 11 at night - Wed after work - hubby wanted to go to gym I said NO WAY!, I am so tired and ended up going to bed at 9pm. AH! woke up refreshed knowing I had the whole day off.

So today I did laundry(a whole weeks worth), rode bikes to the gym and only 20 min on elliptical and 15 on treadmill - rode past all the eating places that sounded so good - we even talked about going back - but No - we ate healthy at home. So I am feeling rested and on track again.

I have had some slight binges this week but feel like that is over. I don't know why I just couldn't stay on track after being off a week. I really didn't do so bad with eating choices while gone - but didn't track calories so I know I was over but I also know that I could have done a lot worse since choices were good.

So done with that and back on track once again... emoticon

You have your plan worked out from the sound of it. Getting back on track after taking a few days off can be difficult, but soon you won't be doing that either. If you really work at it you will make the lifestyle changes and then it won't be a track to get back into! *S*
