Gluten-Free Date Night

Wednesday, October 07, 2009

Last Saturday night my boyfriend and life partner decided to go on a date night. He wanted to go and see Michael Moore's movie "Capitalism, A Love Story". He said that he wanted to take me out to dinner after the movie. Where to eat was the question. Where could we go to eat where the food was ok for me to eat. Well, I saw Rubios and said to John lets go in here and see what I might be able to have. I ordered a combination plate with one fish taco and one chicken taco. It also had some pinto beans and tortilla chips with it. For the first time in a long time I was able to have what the grown up were having. It felt so good to be able to find something right away that I could eat off the menu and not get sick the next day. After our dinner we went and had frozen yogurt with all the fixings. What a fun evening we had and what I great day I had the next day. No tummy troubles at all. See life is good after all in the gluten-free world.
